  • How do I sign up for mentorship or other services?
    Please fill out the "Start Now" form so we can know a bit about you and your goals. Within 2-3 business days we will be in contact with you to set you up with the tutor that best suites your needs.
  • What is Luminary Mentors?
    Luminary Mentors is a mentorship platform dedicated to helping aspiring healthcare students in Canada. We offer personalized mentorship, editing services, and interview preparation to guide students through the application process for medical, dental, and related programs.
  • How are mentors matched with students?
    We use your responses from a questionnaire (take screen shots!) to match you with a mentor who fits your needs, such as your field of interest (e.g., medicine or dentistry) and specific goals. If you’d like to change your mentor, you can contact us, although switching may delay progress
  • What services do you offer?
    We provide mentorship, personal statement and document editing, interview preparation, and topic-specific sessions covering everything from communication skills to healthcare-related social issues. Our mentors are current medical and dental students as well as professionals experienced in Canadian healthcare applications.
  • What if I’m unhappy with my mentor or service?
    We value your satisfaction and will work with you to make adjustments if needed. If you’d like to change your mentor or provide feedback, please email us at sormehmehrabi@gmail.com. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.
  • What if I miss a session?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for missed sessions. However, we encourage you to attend future sessions or reach out to your mentor to catch up on any key insights or information you may have missed.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
